One of the most cost-effective methods of returning a blocked drain or backed up sewer to its optimum condition is through a process called sewer drain jetting.
Sewer drain jetting will have your water flowing in no time.
This is the practice of using high pressure water jetting machines to bring a sewer/drain line back to like-new condition without having to actually replace the line. This is very cost-effective task for heavily used drains, especially industrial applications where the demand on these waste outlets are high. Many jobs we carry out are under an emergency basis because up until the drain covers were over-flowing all was O.K…Wrong, most industrial blockages are caused by a gradual build-up of grease, fats etc, and with a planned maintenance visit, you could avoid those embarrassing moments and of course those emergency call out charges. Anyone who has ever had to deal with a sewer or even residential septic tank/cesspools, knows all about blockages and back-ups. Soap scum residue, grease, hair, food, mineral deposits and more can all cause a sewer/drain to back up.
It is almost inevitable that these things will, at some time, pass through eventually causing drain blockages and smells. Sometimes a simple unblocking may do, but after masses of build-up a quick unblock will often leave a very dirty pipe lining, thus restricting the free flow and of course leading to another blockage, perhaps a good sewer drain jetting would be a more effective method that will also last much longer.
High Pressure Water Cleaning
Most people do not give a thought to their drainage, until they start to suffer problems. At some point all drains need to be cleaned. Over a period of time deposits such as fat, grease, silt and scale build up on the pipe wall, reducing the hydraulic efficiency of the drain.
The most effective way to rid the pipe of these deposits is high pressure water jetting. Strong jets of water remove the deposits from the pipe wall. The deposits are flushed out of the pipe and the drain is returned to a free flowing condition.
We have vans from 3.5 tons up to 26 ton Jet/Vac Tankers that are equipped with all levels of drain jetting tasks from the domestic pipeline up to 600mm culverts. We are a company that will not only clear a blockage but will also try our hardest to find the cause and report back for your reference.
