ALL SET UP FOR A 24HR SHIFT CLEARING AN UNDERCROFT OF A LARGE COMMERCIAL BUILDING 

FOUR LARGE PRIMARY SLUDGE HOLDING TANKS AT A THAMES WATER SEWAGE WORKS.

THESE TANKS TURNED OUT TO BE 38FT DEEP (note the 20ft ladder in the second photo)

THEY NEEDED TO BE CLEANED IN ORDER FOR REMEDIAL WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT ON THEIR STRUCTURE.

Called to our local Sports Centre we discovered around 4 tons of sand in the the pool wash-down pumping chamber tank. Sited under the approach road, with a depth of nearly 7 metres and a chlorine gas risk, special measures were inforced to pump out the sand.
